Street and door-to-door fundraising
Simple and convivial, street fundraising allows non-profit and other organizations to increase their visibility in the public arena. Because fundraisers approach everyone without targeting any group, these campaigns are able to reach every kind of donors.
ONG Conseil sells fundraising hours at a fixed rate, independent of the number of donors recruited and the amount of money collected. Fundraisers are hired for the entire missions and are paid only based on the number of hours worked. This basic principle prevents over-soliciting and guarantees a fixed income for the fundraiser, independent of results.
Typical missions include recruitment, training and supervision of a team of 5 to 10 salaried fundraisers who will go to the streets and other public areas to ask interested people to support the organization they represent.
Door-to-door campaigns use the same model to reach the greatest number of potential regular donors.
Donations are made as automatic monthly payments of a sum chosen by the donor (above the minimum contribution). This support develops NPOs’ financial independence and legitimacy, and makes their resources secure by sustainably increasing them.
